Specifically designed for 2012–2020 Holden Colorado, Colorado 7, and Trailblazer models, Lid-Lock is a simple, no-nonsense fix for the common Colorado airbox mounting tab failure.
If your airbox tabs are cracked or broken, this restores proper clamping so the airbox can seal as intended, without needing to replace the entire unit.
Unlike other fixes, there’s no need to remove the airbox or disconnect your snorkel - just bolt it on and get back on the road. Built from a high-temperature, fibre-reinforced material, it’s designed to handle engine bay heat and vibration while restoring even clamping across the airbox lid.
Instead of replacing the entire airbox or relying on temporary fixes, Lid-Lock reinforces your existing factory airbox and fixes the part that actually fails.
- Designed for Holden Colorado, Colorado 7, and Trailblazer OEM airboxes (2012–2020)

- Simple 20-minute DIY install using basic tools
- No airbox or snorkel removal required
- Fixes the issue without replacing the entire airbox

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my RG Colorado or Trailblazer (2012–2020)?
Yes, this product will fit all Holden Colorado’s and Trailblazer’s manufactured between 2012 and 2020. They all share the same airbox even though there are multiple body styles and trims available.
If your airbox is round, it will fit.
Why choose Lid-Lock over OEM or Aftermarket?
- Lower Cost: At $109, it’s significantly cheaper than an OEM replacement ($200+) or a full aftermarket airbox ($700+).
- Fixes the Actual Problem: Designed to restore clamping force where the factory mounting tabs fail, rather than replacing the entire unit.
- Simple DIY Install: Bolt-on fitment in roughly 20 minutes using basic tools. No need to remove the airbox or disconnect your snorkel.
- Proven in Real Use: Over 2,000 units out on the road with a 4.98/5 rating from Australian 4x4 owners.
